About Us
Expert Massage Therapy in Bowmanville.

Jewell, RMT & Founder
(Clinical Bio-Mechanics & Isolation Specialist)
Jewell brings a rare perspective to the treatment table, blending over 25 years of experience as a Fitness Specialist and Coach with a decade of clinical practice as a Registered Massage Therapist. This unique intersection of movement science and manual therapy allows her to see the body not just as a collection of muscles, but as a complex mechanical system that requires precision tuning.
At 2L’s Rx, Jewell specializes in Isolation Treatments. Her approach is rooted in advanced bio-mechanics, understanding exactly how a restriction in one area of the body creates a ripple effect of tension elsewhere. By "isolating" the root cause of dysfunction, she uses targeted remedial techniques to restore the natural "length" and "longevity" of her patients' bodies.
The 2L’s Standard: Jewell’s practice is built on a Person-Centric philosophy. She believes that elite clinical results are amplified when delivered through a lens of transparency and direct, old-school hospitality. This is high-authority care stripped of technical jargon, a sophisticated partnership where your recovery is the sole priority. In the quiet sanctuary of her Bowmanville clinic, Jewell transforms complex physical challenges into clear, actionable paths toward effortless functions.
Jewell's Expertise & Specializations:
Bio-Mechanical Integration: Mapping movement patterns to identify the source of pain.
Clinical Isolation Treatments: Precision-based release of deep-seated tension.
Remedial Exercise & Coaching: Leveraging 25 years of fitness expertise to provide home-care that actually works.
Repetitive Strain & Sports Recovery: Advanced care for the active, high-performance human.
The Intersection of Movement Science and Clinical Precision.

Leah, RMT
(Rehabilitation & Restorative Mobility Specialist)
Leah brings two years of clinical experience as a Registered Massage Therapist to 2L’s Rx, combining compassionate hands-on care with a deep appreciation for functional movement. Dedicated to continually elevating her practice, she is currently expanding her clinical expertise through the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant (OTA/PTA) program at Durham College. This unique dual-focus allows Leah to look beyond short-term relief, integrating evidence-informed rehabilitation concepts directly into her therapeutic massage treatments.
At 2L’s Rx, Leah tailors every session to align with our core philosophy of Length & Longevity. Whether you are managing chronic desk posture, recovering from a sports injury, or looking to restore joint mobility and fascia health, she works collaboratively with you to identify the root causes of movement restriction. Through targeted soft-tissue techniques, gentle joint mobilization, and clear post-treatment guidance, Leah empowers her clients to move more freely, recover faster, and maintain long-term physical well-being right here in Bowmanville.
Outside of the clinic and her academic studies, Leah stays grounded by going for walks, relaxing with movies, and spending quality time with family and friends. She also enjoys unleashing her creative side through her newest hobby, crocheting.
